Ping i540 Iron - Graphite - Single Club

Ping i540 – Precision Distance Irons for Serious Golfers Experience the next level of performance with the Ping i540 Iron Set, engineered for golfers who demand distance, speed, and total control on approach shots. Combining advanced construction with innovative technologies, these irons deliver both high-level feel and game-changing results.   Strategic Weighting for Maximum Distance and Forgiveness The Ping i540 features a precisely engineered weighting system, utilizing tungsten weights in the sole of irons 4–7 to lower the center of gravity (CG). This design promotes a higher launch and increased ball speed, giving you longer carries and enhanced stopping power—especially critical when attacking the green.   Forged Maraging Steel Face for Explosive Ball Speed With a forged maraging steel face that’s 9% thinner than previous generations, the i540 maximizes flex at impact for faster ball speeds and a responsive feel reminiscent of a metalwood. The seamless transitions between the sole and topline further boost energy transfer and help you achieve towering ball flights.   inR-Air Technology for Superior Sound and Feel Ping’s patented inR-Air Technology introduces an internal air pocket behind the face, enhancing sound and feel at impact without sacrificing face flex. The TPU insert is carefully selected to maintain consistent pressure and performance, even in changing course conditions.   i-Beam Structure for Enhanced Stability The new i-Beam structure in the clubhead, crafted from 17-4 stainless steel, delivers extra stability and reinforces the head for a solid, consistent feel and feedback that discerning players appreciate.   Who Should Play the Ping i540 Iron Set?
